The National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS) is one of 8 program offices within NOAA’s National Ocean Service Program. NCCOS supports the research, monitoring, assessments, and technical assistance to meet NOAA’s coastal stewardship and management responsibilities. There are four research priorities designated by NCCOS: Harmful Algal Blooms, Pollution, Climate Change, and Spatial Management Support. Most of our research will fall into one of these four categories, though some projects span multiple themes. Visit NCCOS‘ website for more information.
