NCCOS Marine Sensor Research Garners AP Coverage. An Associated Press story in the San Francisco Chronicle features recent NCCOS-supported Gulf of Maine deployment of the Environmental Sampler Processor (ESP), a marine sensor that can collect and transmit data about toxin-producing algae blooms, known as red tides, which show up in the Gulf of Maine each spring.
